We Need To Ban Video Games

When someone uses a bomb to blow up a building we go after the bomber not the bomb. When a person uses matches to light a building on fire we go after the arsonist and not the matches. When someone drinks and drives we go after the drunk driver and not the car or the alcohol.
For some reason though, when someone uses a gun to commit a crime we go after the gun. Not only that, they go after the guns of all the people who had nothing to do with the crime.
When I wrote for some reason above I knew the reason and you know it as well. They use incidents of violence with guns to go after guns because they want to disarm all of us. Gun control is not about the gun it is about control and government knows that if it can disarm its citizens it can control its citizens.
This is why we have a Second Amendment. Despite the stupidity of people like Andrew Cuomo of New York the Second Amendment is not there to protect hunting or sport shooting. It is there to protect the population from its own government and any other that tries to attack us.
Make no mistake about it, our Founders protected our right to keep and bear arms so that we would never be held as slaves under a tyrannical government. We would always have the ability to fight our government should the need arise.
This is not a radical idea as our Founders did just that to gain our freedom.
But gun grabbers want to disarm everyone. I know they claim otherwise with nonsense terms like “common sense laws” and such but their plan is to incrementally impose more and more bans until we are disarmed. Places like Maryland are already well along in the anti gun, gun ban, confiscation scheme. Communist Governor Martin O’Malley and the Democrat idiots in the legislature have passed gun laws that are unconstitutional and will hopefully be negated by the Supreme Court (though one can never tell with the outside influences blackmailing justices).
In any event, the shooting at the Navy Yard elicited the same visceral response we have come accustomed to. The immediate reaction of the gun grabbers was to call for more gun control. The reality that the shooting took place in a city that has strict gun control on a military base with strict gun control has not even dawned on the people who are so hell bent on enslaving us that they were screaming for more gun control while the dead bodies were still warm.
Barack Obama lamented that we are once again dealing with this kind of tragedy. I will shoot his words back at him. We are once again dealing with you exploiting a criminal to disarm non criminals. You danced on the bodies of the dead children in Newtown and you are dancing on the dead at the Navy yard.
The narrative was the same in the media as we were bombed with stories of an AR 15 and assault this and assault that.
Turns out the gun used was a shotgun and the pistols used were taken from the guards who were shot. Not to worry, the media came to the rescue like they did when George Zimmerman turned out to be Hispanic instead of white (and thus became the new race of white Hispanic) and invented the new AR 15 shotgun…
We are now finding out that the shooter had a real problem with mental illness and that it was reported months ago but not acted upon by the very government that wants to disarm you for the deeds of the shooter. It also turns out that this guy would spend up to 18 hours at a time playing the Call of Duty video game. It is reported that the game took him to his dark side.
In other words, the video game influenced this mentally ill man to act on his inner dark side. Thus, he sneaked a firearm onto a post and went around shooting people like in the video game.
So now that we know this is it safe for us to conclude that we do not need to ban guns we need to ban video games? The game caused the problem and made this man shoot others. In order to stop this senseless violence we must have the following:
- All people who want to buy a video game must be 21
- All people who want to buy a video game must pay money and submit an application with a set of fingerprints
- All people who want to buy video games must sign a release for a medical and mental health records check
- All video games must no longer be capable of being played longer than 2 hours in a 24 hour period. This is our ban on high capacity video games
- Anyone who purchases a video game must wait 3 days before picking it up so a background check can be completed
- No one can buy more than one video game in a 30 day period
- Online video gaming will no longer be allowed so we can close the internet loophole
These are a must because there are millions of people out there using video games. These games cause people to turn violent and result in death. It is not the person, it is the game and you should never forget that.
We must do this…
…for the children.
However, in keeping with the spirit of Barack Obama’s tenure video games may be given to terrorists.
Yep, Barack Obama wants to infringe on our right to keep and bear arms and wants to impose even tougher restrictions on law abiding citizens while at the same time he has waived the law disallowing us from sending arms to terrorists so he can arm the Syrian Rebels.
Think about it folks, Barack Obama trusts terrorists with firearms but does not trust you with them.
And he knows the terrorists would fail the background check. That is why he waived the law…

Miranda Warning

David Miranda, the partner of Glenn Greenwald, was detained in the UK under that nation’s terror laws. He is not a terrorist, has no terror ties (that have been made public), comes from a nation that is not on the terror watch list and has not engaged in terror. He was held nonetheless, for nine hours and his electronic devices were seized. He was released but his stuff is in the hands of the law.
Why did this happen? Well, Miranda and Greewald have been revealing the information provided by Edward Snowden. These guys have shed light on the dark and possibly illegal spying the US is doing on its own citizens.
The US government was given a heads up about Miranda being detained but denies being involved or asking that it happen.
Whether the US specifically asked or not is not important. What is important is that a person was detained without cause because he has been involved in the reporting of illegal acts the US government is involved in.
Tyrants do not like it when their tyranny is exposed. It does not take long for them to go after those exposing the illegal activity.
This incident might have opened a can of worms as Greewald has vowed to make his reporting more aggressive because of the incident and he warned the government he would expose more spying secrets indicating Britain would be “sorry” for the detention.
Reports indicate that Miranda will sue the UK government over the detention and I hope he does.
Nations are using terror laws to impose upon people not involved in terror in any way. The UK is not the only nation to do it. In the US terrorism laws are used to enslave people, to infringe upon their rights, and to allow the government to do what it wants in the name of fighting terror.
Police departments are being outfitted for war and that war is against the people. They can claim it is because the streets are dangerous but how often do we see these well armed police departments entering gang infested areas with their weapons of war and armored vehicles to flush out and capture or kill gang bangers? How often do they use these items to engage the drug cartels or the illegals running around causing problems?
We hardly see that because they are too busy rousting people from their homes and infringing on their rights.
The Constitution does not allow our Armed forces to be used against us but that is being circumvented by a government that is building up an army of police officers throughout the nation.
An army that will one day be deployed to enforce a police state and to further stomp on our liberty.
Unless they remember their oath…

Obama To Students; Ignore The Tyranny

OK, OK, Obama really told the students to reject the voices that warn of government tyranny. He is basically telling the students to ignore those who say government can become tyrannical as his regime moves toward that very tyranny. He needs to indoctrinate the young minds so when government is in full blown tyranny mode the heads full of mush will reject the idea because their overlord Obama told them it can’t happen.
Unfortunately, you’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that’s at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They’ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave, and creative, and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we can’t be trusted.
We have never been a people who place all our faith in government to solve our problems. We shouldn’t want to. But we don’t think the government is the source of all our problems, either. Because we understand that this democracy is ours. And as citizens, we understand that it’s not about what America can do for us, it’s about what can be done by us, together, through the hard and frustrating but absolutely necessary work of self-government. Well there you have it. The great and wise Obama has told the students that they should reject those who talk of tyranny because they suggest that our experiment is somehow a sham that can’t be trusted and that we do not believe government should solve all our problems.
To address the last part first, Obama and the rest of the progressives DO believe government is the answer to all our problems. This is evident by the way he is leading. Their solution to every problem is more government which usually involves some form of massive spending (and of course taxing the evil rich).
His talk does not match his actions because he is a liar. He works to deceive people and his goal here is to discredit those who actually see what is going on.
What about that first part? First of all, Obama used a false argument. No one warning of tyranny is suggesting our government is a sham (though it might be one with Obama at the helm). We suggest that tyranny can occur in the best of governments. Obama might want these kids to believe that government can be trusted and he and his followers might actually believe this. I prefer to look at the words of much wiser people and those I look to are the people who founded this nation (as well as a few from past presidents who were not Founders). Let us look at what those men had to say about government, shall we?

I think it is very clear that much wiser men than Obama, those who gave us this great experiment, were suspicious of government. Their words clearly tell us they felt that government was not to be trusted and that tyranny was something that governments become and that we should be cautious of this.
So regardless of what Obama tells these youngsters, the voices talking about tyranny are echoes from the past. They are the echoes of our Founders and others who have held this nation’s highest office.
They are voices from those who experienced firsthand that which they warn about and that which Obama seeks to deny while placing the wheels in motion.
My advice to these students and all citizens is to be wary and to ignore the words of those who tell you not to worry about tyranny. In other words, ignore what Obama said to these students because history is not on his side.
I prefer to use the words of Ronald Reagan, Trust but verify.
Though quite honestly, I have no trust of the government.

Americans Fear Their Government

The recent police state in Massachusetts, as police equipped with all the military equipment Obama says has no place on our streets, has people jumpy. If one of our largest cities can be locked down while police conduct illegal house to house searches for one guy then what will stop them from locking down any city and violating our rights for whatever reason?
A recent poll shows that more Americans are afraid that our government will violate our constitutionally protected rights than are afraid government will fail to protect us.
This should come as no surprise. While the news is filled with stories of government’s inability to keep us safe it is also filled with daily stories of government working to violate our rights. In some states, such as Colorado, New York and Maryland, the government has passed laws disarming people. These laws violate our rights and are designed to keep us from protecting ourselves from bad people including bad people in our government.
The Second Amendment protects a right that preexisted the Constitution. It is in place so that if government ever starts shooting at the people the people can shoot back. Governments who want to disarm the people do so for only one reason and that is to control the people by removing the people’s means to protect themselves from government oppression.
If the people are properly armed and their rights are not infringed (they can carry) then there is no need to lock down a city to look for one guy. Bad people are not likely to stick around a place where anyone, at any time, could produce a firearm and eliminate them as a threat.
The poll shows that Americans fear the loss of their rights and this is for a very good reason. Our government (at all levels) is working against us and the Constitution. There are laws requiring us to purchase things (call it a tax but it is a requirement to buy a good), to detain us without due process, to spy on us and invade our privacy, and to disarm us.
People know when government gets too powerful and when it has effectively disarmed the population then it can control people. A look at history shows how this has resulted in the slaughter of millions of people who were first disarmed.
Our government is no different from any of those and could easily be moved to impose its will through the use of deadly force.
I know that the naysayers believe that could not happen in America but anyone with a brain knows otherwise.
Any government that would ignore its Constitution and the will of the people (as it is exercised within that Constitution) is capable of murdering people to get what it wants.
Our government has slaughtered people in this country before and if it effectively disarms us there will be nothing stopping it from doing so in greater numbers.
Anyone who watched the government impose a police state in Massachusetts as it violated the rights of the citizens living there and can’t see that it would not take much for government to round people up and detain or kill them is not living in reality.
It will get much worse before it gets better, if it ever does…

The Line In The Sand Has Been Drawn

The gun debate in the state of Maryland is hot and heavy with the anti gun, oath breaking politicians running roughshod over law abiding citizens. The Constitutional rights of American citizens living in the People’s Republik of Maryland are being trampled on by tyrants led by overlord Governor O’Malley.
The gun debate in this country is hot and heavy as the anti gun, oath breaking tyrants in Congress (led by the Imperial President Obama) work to deny law abiding citizens their rights.
The United Nations is working to take guns from everyone all over the world and the tyrant leading this country is on board with the UN.
Anti gun politicians are also working on ways to restrict gun ownership in case all out bans and confiscation fail. They are trying to impose oppressive taxes on ammunition, require licenses and certificates to buy guns and ammo (respectively) and they have introduced legislation to require gun owners to purchase insurance or face a $10,000 fine. All of these are designed to make it difficult or impossible for law abiding people to get and to effectively use firearms.
[note]The police do not carry guns to protect YOU. They carry them for their own protection. In Texas they are worried about prosecutors being murdered and want them to carry firearms and are considering allowing them to carry them in the courthouse where only the police currently carry. This is an admission that even in a building with lots of armed officers your safety cannot be guaranteed. It is also an admission that carrying a gun is the best way to protect yourself.[/note]
The people doing this are traitors to this nation, its people and its Constitution.
We had a Revolution when this nation was founded and that revolution was due, in part, to an attempt by the British to confiscate our firearms. There were plenty of other reasons we decided to declare our independence but gun confiscation was one of them.
Let us make no mistake, people who are disarmed by their government are slaves. Free people are not deprived the RIGHT to keep and bear arms. That concept was so natural to our Founders that they ensured the right (a right that preexisted the Constitution) was protected in the US Constitution. They worded the Amendment to include the words SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.
Everything the government is doing infringes on our right.
We live in a nation where women have the right to murder their unborn children, gays have a right to marry their same sex partners, and people have a right to have their health care provided by the government. None of these things is anywhere in the Constitution but the people who are trying to disarm us will fight tooth and nail to protect these alleged rights while fighting even harder to take away a right that is specifically named and protected by the Constitution.
The line in the sand has been drawn and it is well past time for free people to fight back. We need to put the politicians in their place. We need to remind them they work for us. They need to be removed from office and they need to stand trial for their crimes.
We are a nation of many and there are more gun owners in this nation than there are armed agents of the government. When one considers that many of those armed agents will refuse to disarm citizens our numbers are even bigger. We need to use our strength and our numbers to put crushing pressure on all of the anti gun politicians and we need to hold their feet to the fire. We need to crush them completely.
We can only pray that we can accomplish this by peaceful means but, to put it in the words of our government, all options are on the table.
We fought one Revolution against a tyrannical government and we can fight another. The time has come for us to tell them, no more. We will not comply. We will not bow down. We will not give up our rights because a few bad people did horrific things.
The reality is that those horrific acts pale in comparison to the horrific acts that governments have taken when they successfully disarmed their people. Governments have murdered millions of people after disarming them.

The gun grabbers say this could never happen here. After all, government has not murdered millions of us.
No, because we are armed. Our Founders knew that we needed to be armed to keep our government in check. They knew if we did not have arms we would be slaves and we would be ruled by tyrants.
The people in office now know this as well and this is exactly why they want to disarm us. They want to rule us with the iron fists of tyranny.
And we must not let that happen.
By any means necessary we must defeat this gun grab agenda.
