Ann Coulter Has Jumped The Shark

I will admit that I used to read Coulter weekly and I have read a few of her books which were quite entertaining. But she has been all over the place since not long after Trump was elected because he allegedly did not do things fast enough for her.
Now she has gone off the deep end:
Ann Coulter is the favorite bashing toy for the left and a darling of the right as she uses her acerbic wit and sense of humor to put on full display how deranged the liberals really are. Unfortunately, Ann has jumped the shark by going all in on Joe Biden getting us out of Afghanistan. She claims that Scranton Joe had the balls to do it when Trump did not.
This is not surprising since Ann started out in favor of Trump but soured on him because he did not accomplish things he said he would or did not do them as quickly as Queen Ann would have liked.
The funny thing is Ann’s big deal, which often seemed like HER ONLY deal, was illegal immigration. She wanted the border closed. Trump closed the border (and began building the wall), he made people seeking asylum wait in Mexico and he drastically reduced the number of illegal people and drugs pouring into this country. One would think she would be happy he took care of her chief concern but she would rather dwell on things that were, in some cases, out of his control and in other cases, in progress.
Trump spent nearly four years fighting false accusations by liberals and their RINO friends. It is a miracle that he was able to accomplish anything but he did. Our economy was the best it has been in a very long time and unemployment, particularly among minorities, was at an all time low. But Ann dwells on Afghanistan.
Yes Ann, he had an agreement in place to leave Afghanistan. It was designed to be orderly, get the non-combatants out, remove our equipment, retrograde our troops and blow up anything of value to keep it out of enemy hands. If the election had not been stolen he would have put that in place and we would have had an orderly withdrawal. Instead, we had chaos with thirteen service members killed and lots and lots of Afghanis, who are not SIV applicants, in our nation. You see, Trump set milestones for the Taliban so they would not do what Biden allowed them to do. Trump told them if they reneged he would kill them. Biden let them abuse him and make our nation look weak.
In all of this, the stuff you applaud Ann, there are untold numbers of Americans left behind. People who actually helped us, were left behind. Pallets of cash were there for the Taliban to take and they got billions of dollars of military equipment including helicopters, vehicles, uniforms, communications equipment, night vision gear and weapons. I guess it does not occur to people who sit back smoking Marlboro Lights all day long while thinking of witty stuff for the next book that a lot of people are in danger and many of them will be murdered. I guess since it is not you or your loved ones it is OK, eh Ann?
And what about the psychological damage to the men and women who fought there and who lost loved ones there? This will have far reaching effects on our warfighters. Those of you who sit in your ivory towers and watch from afar will never understand.
Joe Biden retreated in a cowardly fashion and gave our enemy the very things they will use to attack us again in the future. And when they do you better not open your mouth because right now, at this moment, you are applauding it.
In my world we do not applaud cowardice. Maybe that is something you can celebrate Ann but when you do don’t dance too heavily on the graves of those who died because of it. They deserve better from you and they certainly deserve better from their Commander in Chief.

Obama’s Failure In Iraq

Obama ran as a guy who opposed action in Iraq and he vowed to remove our troops from that country as soon as he could. Once he decided to leave he announced it to the world and he did not entertain ideas about leaving security forces to ensure the peace.
The man who has never run anything and who has no military experience was warned that announcing a departure date was stupid because the enemy would know when the chance of running into American forces would end. It had the end date.
The bad guys also knew that if none of our forces remained then they would be able to regroup and attack.
That has now all happened. Iraqis in many parts of the country are being attacked and murdered by the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Shams (Isis). That group is taking cities at a fast pace and leaving murder and mayhem in its path. The decapitated heads of policemen and soldiers line the streets of Mosul as the carnage continues.
Sharia Law is being imposed and anyone who refuses or breaks the law will be murdered.
This is what Barack Obama has given the people of Iraq and it is because of his ego. He thinks the world loves us because he is in charge. He thinks all he has to do is make nice and others will do the same. The enemy knows that America does not have the stomach to recommit troops to Iraq after many years of war and it is taking advantage of our (Obama’s) weakness.
Members of Congress who fought in Iraq are wondering aloud what the point of their (indicating our armed forces) effort was if Obama was just going to allow it to disintegrate into chaos.
Joe Biden once said that Iraq was one of Obama’s great achievements. Well how great is the achievement now that hundreds of thousands of Iraqis are being displaced and untold numbers are being murdered?
I don’t know what can be done for Iraq short of sending military assistance (drones and air power) but it is a good bet that we will not be sending ground troops. I am not advocating that but I know even if it were one hundred percent right to do so Obama would not. That would be admitting that his policies and what he did all resulted in failure and Obama does not admit his mistakes.
I am curious how many Democrats will be screaming that we need to do something to help those folks after spending years screaming about our involvement there and saying we needed to get out. How long before they blame George W Bush for the chaos? [UPDATE: That did not take long]
During the last presidential election debates Mitt Romney said it would be a mistake to remove all our troops from Iraq.
How many more times do his past utterances, ones ridiculed by liberals, have to come to fruition before people who worship Obama realize Romney was right and Obama was wrong?
How long before people begin to realize he does not know what he is doing?
How long before they realize the Emperor has no clothes?
How many people in Iraq will be murdered because Obama is a weak inept leader with no real experience?

Why Does Military Suffer These Budget Cuts

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has recommended cutting the military from 520,000 to 450,000. He has also recommended closing some bases in the US and reducing benefits for military members.
Hagel said that after the prolonged wars in Iraq and Afghanistan the planners are not planning on conducting long and large stability operations. Basically, there are no plans to have a big, drawn out conflict.
I hope America’s enemies got this memo because they will not hesitate to fight a long and drawn out war.
Why is it that government, when run by Democrats, cuts the military to solve money problems? Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and now Barack Obama cut our forces. It looks great on paper but when the stuff hits the fan we need boots on the ground. Former Defense Secretary Don Rumsfeld was blasted when he said you go to war with the military you have but that is true. It is also true that the military we had when he said it was given to us by Clinton.
How will America respond when some big military event takes place (like say WWIII) and we have to have a draft to get enough people to fight the long protracted war the planners are not planning to conduct?
Why are member of the military having their benefits cut when this nation has many multiples of our military strength on welfare? Why do we not talk about cutting welfare and other social programs? Hell, they could probably make up the defense budget shortfall by getting rid of the Obamaphone program.
If our planners are not planning on a big long war why do we need to cut military bases in the US? We have plenty of military bases in other nations that we can close and save a ton of money. We really don’t need to project our strength forward if we are not going to have big long wars. We can respond to hotspots from bases in the US.
Hagel said the focus will be on protecting the homeland so let’s do it by keeping the bases in our homeland open and closing those bases in other nations.
Let’s cut welfare and ensure our warriors get the benefits they deserve, they earned and that we promised to them.
I agree with the plan to phase out older equipment but when we get rid of aging equipment we need to replace it with modern stuff or we will be severely behind the power curve. When the day comes that we need to go big it will be too late to start modernizing our armed forces.
The military is a necessary part of our country. It is there to protect us and keep us free. Part of that is being big enough and lethal enough to deter those who would attack us. The recommendations of Secretary Hagel weaken us as a nation and that is a position that we cannot and should not tolerate.
Yes, the military is an expensive part of government but it is a small part of the pie. Social welfare programs and unfunded liabilities are multiples of the Defense budget. We get the best bang for our buck (pun intended) with a strong well funded military.
It is much more valuable to the nation than welfare programs and spending programs that are not called for in our Constitution and are not helpful to the nation.
I hope that Congress makes the right decisions or one day in the future we will regret these cuts.

Well Wishes For Beau Biden

Beau Biden, the son of VP Joe Biden and the attorney general of Delaware, is at a hospital in Texas known as a leading center for the treatment of cancer. There is no indication that Biden has cancer as news reports indicate he is being evaluated.
Biden, who had a stroke in 2010, suffered a bout of weakness and disorientation on 14 August after driving to Indiana for a family vacation. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and then went to a hospital in Philadelphia to see his doctor. He is now at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Beau Biden is now being evaluated to determine what caused his weakness and disorientation. There is no indication as to why he is at a premier cancer center though that is sure to fuel speculation.
I wish him well and will keep him in my prayers. I do not agree with him or his family politically but he is a human being and seems like a fairly decent guy outside the political arena. He is someone’s father, husband and son and it is a stressful time for all of them as they wait to see if a cause for his illness can be found.

Because Liberalism IS Weakness

Researchers conducted a study and concluded that men who are physically strong (have more upper body strength) tend to be conservative and men who are physically weak tend to support welfare and wealth redistribution. This should come as no surprise when one looks at liberals. They are metrosexuals who need someone to care for them because they are not able to care for themselves.
It is obvious that liberals are a bit wimpy, have you ever seen Obama throw a baseball? Lest we forget he bowled a 37…
Why do you think liberals oppose firearms? These are tools of strength and liberal men can’t have that. They would prefer to sip frou-frou coffee and collect government assistance because they know they are not able to care for themselves.
Now I know there are some liberal men who are physically strong (I know many) and some conservative men who are physically weak (I know some of them too) but the research does not say the results are true in all cases, just that they tend to be so.
Look at the liberal men you see on TV and see if they appear to have more upper body strength or less and also look to see if they look a bit girly. It should not be hard to find a number of these liberal weaklings beyond Obama and Holder. Look around in everyday life and you can figure which men are self supporting and strong and which ones are weak and need to be taken care of.
The study links the finding to evolution and claims that humans have always been political but in the past governments and courts did not make decisions about the distribution. These were done through shows of strength. The strong were able to enjoy the fruits of their labor while the weak depended on others to help them out. If you were strong it was unlikely someone was going to take your stuff or that you would produce much of your own.
Why do you think liberals always fear conservatives coming to power? Why do you think that liberals run on fear that some mean conservative will take your free gubmint stuff if elected?
They are not strong so they fear that their lifeline, the stuff gubmint has extorted from the strong, will go away.
Liberals want big government give aways because they are unable to support themselves and they fear having to try.
Liberal men equals girly men.
The study showed no difference between conservative and liberal women. My study shows conservative women are smarter and better looking…
And libs, please don’t argue. As Al Gore would say, the science is settled…
