The Threat from Senator Boxer

I received an email from Senator Boxer. It is kind of amazing that I do because I had to game the system to get her contact form to accept my email because I am not in her state but she emails me all the time telling me what a great job she is doing. Today she wanted me to see the text of a speech she gave. I read the first few sentences and could go no further. I know that I should read more but if this is what liberals read I will stop right now…

This is the very first part:

Statement of Barbara Boxer
Field Hearing on “Green Job Growth and Global Warming.”
Tuesday, August 14, 2007

Global warming is the greatest environmental threat faced by mankind.
We have now arrived at a time in our history when human activities related to greenhouse gas emissions could bring dangerous consequences.

There you have it. Without any scientific consensus she claims that global warming is not only real but it is the greatest environmental threat, blah, blah. I realize that there are scientists who support the theory but there are equal numbers who do not. The fact that the scientific community was spewing this same tripe at the beginning of the last century should give people pause, but sadly, it does not.

This is the plan of the liberals. They will just keep screaming that this is true and a problem until it is universally accepted. This is like a bad email scam that promises Bill Gates will give us a million dollars if we forward the email so he can test a tracking program (thought I forgot that one,, didn’t you). People get caught up and eventually accept it as true. This is exactly what the global warming fanatics are doing.

Besides, even if global warming were true, it is not the greatest threat to the environment. The greatest would be the gases coming from the excrement in Washington, DC.

After trying to email some of these people and getting the same message that they can not answer any of my questions because I do not live in their district I to had to go around the system. I type in my home address but I use their office address as town, state and zip. They answer then. Some time I put in their office address as mine and they still answer me.

Right now I’m in the process of answering a Feingold mail. The fact that they can’t answer a question when asked in live time it is laughable that they can’t answer your questions in writing either. It will be interesting to see what or if he answers the next email.
