Why Wouldn’t Kerry Visit Our Enemy?
by Big Dog on Dec 26, 2009 at 00:06 Political
John Kerry is floating the idea of visiting Tehran. He would be the first high level person to visit there since 1979. Barack Obama said he would meet with Iran’s leader without preconditions and so far the diplomatic effort has been a dismal failure. Iran has balked at any discussions about its nuclear plans and has basically laughed in the face of Obama.
Iran has bought itself another year to work on its nuclear program which is, no doubt, a vehicle for developing nuclear weapons.
It should not surprise anyone that John Kerry would work on getting to Tehran. He has a history of going to meet our enemies. Who can forget that Kerry, as a Vietnam War protester, visited with the North Vietnamese while we were at war.
Kerry’s anti war antics likely earned him a dishonorable** discharge from the Naval Reserve. That Dishonorable Discharge would have been changed under a program that President Carter implemented. There is no way of telling because Kerry has not released his records for review even though he promised to do so. He probably does not want any embarrassing items circulating.
Regardless, this is par for the course for Kerry. He likes to visit with our enemies.
It should surprise no one.
**I indicated Dishonorable but it is likely he had a LESS THAN HONORABLE DISCHARGE, not a DISHONORABLE one.

Oh wow, a new lie I hadn’t heard before. Kerry dishonorably discharged. You really are shameless in your support of any untruth in the pursuit of defending your absurd ideologies. Smearing veterans with lies, whatever it takes.

“During the 2004 campaign, Kerry released hundreds of documents related to his military service, including his reserve and discharge documents.[55]
Kerry was criticized by SBVT and some media entities for not authorizing independent public access to his privacy protected service records.[75] After the election, on May 20, 2005, he did sign a Standard Form 180 allowing full release of all his military service records,[76] including his reserve and discharge records, as well as his medical records, to the Associated Press, the Boston Globe, and the Los Angeles Times.”
etc.
Even your Moonie Times debunked this one.
Kerry did not sign the SF 180 authorizing the complete release of all his records. That is stated in the Washington Times and if Kerry did this why did he make the promise, when the election was over, to sign an SF 180. He did NOT allow release of all his records.
And if you could read for comprehension you would see that I did not assert that he had been I stated it was likely. You claim that since an honorable discharge was present that the case is closed?
However, I did write dishonorable when it is LIKELY that he had a LESS THAN HONORABLE discharge though we will not know without seeing the records.
Well, as I recall, the date on the Honorable DC was well after he was released and after Jimmy Carter ordered all military personnel who received Dishonorable DCs for their anti war activities changed to Honorable ones.
And Darrel, how funny? You say smearing veterans with lies (which I did not do) and you wrote it in defense of John Kerry who smeared veterans with lies when he was part of the anti war movement. It has been shown that he lied about many of his claims. He smeared veterans, the REAL heroes.
Kerry did not release all his records, his service remains fuzzy and he was likely dishonorably discharged before that was changed.
He could clear it up by honoring his promise to sign the 180 to release all his records.
Perhaps this will help you.

With you it’s often hard to know where the dumb ends and the dishonesty begins. In this case I think you are just being dishonest:
“On May 20, Kerry signed a document called Standard Form 180, authorizing the Navy to send an ”undeleted” copy of his ”complete military service record and medical record” to the Globe.”
Boston Globe
As I already referenced, he also did this for
the Associated Press, and the Los Angeles Times.
Bigd: “if Kerry did this why did he make the promise, when the election was over, to sign an SF 180.”
DAR
Continued from above:
“Asked why he delayed signing the form for so long, Kerry said in a written response: ”The call for me to sign a 180 form came from the same partisan operatives who were lying about my record on a daily basis on the Web and in the right-wing media. Even though the media was discrediting them, they continued to lie. I felt strongly that we shouldn’t kowtow to them and their attempts to drag their lies out.”
Basically, because of all of the lying assholes.
Bigd: “since an honorable discharge was present that the case is closed?>>
DAR
Yeah, the case is closed. Stop lying. It’s disgraceful.
Bigd: “And if you could read for comprehension you would see that I did not assert that he had been [Dishonorably Discharged] I stated it was likely.”>>

Quote: “That Dishonorable Discharge would have been changed under a program…”
What part of your own writing are you failing to comprehend? Be a man and take responsibility for what you write. Even though it’s usually garbage so dishonest a child could debunk it.
Bigd: “Perhaps this will help you.”>>

It’s never helpful to read lies. Your source claims:
“Thomas Lipscomb asserts that in all probability, Sen. John F. Kerry originally received a less-than-honorable discharge…”
You really have no clue whatsoever ever do you?
Oh, and your blog article is nicely dismantled in it’s own comment thread.
Kind of like how it works around here.

With respect to Kerry’s discharge from the Naval Reserve, Rowan Scarborough of the Washington [Moonie] Times wrote:
“A second charge is that Mr. Kerry did not successfully fulfill his time in the Reserves, so a special board had to be convened to determine what type of discharge he should receive.
Navy documents show that in 1978, he received an “honorable discharge certificate” after a board of officers convened and reviewed his record.”
–ibid
Hey dumbass, eplain why Kerry had a discharge in 1978 when his service was over in 1972.
He received a less than honorable and it was reviewed under the Carter program.
Kerry signed an SF 180 allowing partial access to his records. He did not allow all of them to be released.
Why did Kerry promise to sign an SF 180 in an interview AFTER the election? Why did he promise to release ALL of his records in the interview AFTER the election?
You have not debunked anything. A child? The only child commenting here is you.
I would be happy if you went back to the children’s playground and stayed away from here. I am tired of the lies and your presence has caused a number of people to stop coming here. You are driving away readers.
All already answered above.
God, I hope if Herman Munster goes over there that they keep him, because O’bama can’t get ANY concessions from Iran, meaning that Herman could be over there until we elect someone with stones- perhaps three more years.
He might actually learn something.
After all, a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged.
